Associate Manager of Information Systems

Burlington, VT, USA Full Time

Join Our Team: Associate Manager of Information Systems at PACE (#S4987PO)

Are you a tech enthusiast who believes in the transformative power of information systems, but also knows that a well-timed gif can solve more problems than a lengthy email? The Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) department is on the lookout for an Associate Manager of Information Systems. This is a golden opportunity for someone who gets excited about optimizing business systems and has a knack for bridging the gap between technical solutions and user needs, all while maintaining a sense of humor in the digital labyrinth of Salesforce/Slate CRMs, marketing tools, and websites.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Innovate and Lead: Direct the administration, design, and analysis of our business systems like a maestro, making sure that every note hits perfectly to enhance our CRMs (Salesforce/Slate), marketing tools, and website functionality.
  • Guardian of Data Quality: Take on the noble quest of maintaining the purity of our data, ensuring it serves our students and our internal colleagues.
  • Team Captain: Rally your team of tech heroes (including a Web Programmer and Web Content Manager) with motivation, enthusiasm, experience and seeing the big picture, but also getting into the weeds.
  • Master Collaborator: Engage with business stakeholders like a seasoned diplomat, translating their needs into tech solutions with the finesse of a skilled interpreter and trusted partner.
  • Project Whisperer: Craft project plans and timelines with the precision of an artisan, ensuring everything runs as smoothly as your favorite playlist.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Someone with experience in systems administration, design, and analysis, and a solid grasp of tools like Salesforce and Slate CRMs and Hubspot. A leader who’s as comfortable directing a team as they are explaining the latest meme trends.
  • A data enthusiast who can turn numbers into narratives that captivate and convince stakeholders, and help set a course for student success.
  • A strategic thinker who views project management as a fine art to be mastered.
  • A supportive mentor who can illuminate the world of data systems with the ease of a seasoned educator.

Why You Should Apply:

  • A Diverse and Welcoming Culture: We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
  • Meaningful Impact: Your efforts will directly influence the educational and career journeys of our students.
  • Opportunities for Growth: We support professional development to help you grow your skills and career.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Join a crew that thrives on innovation, teamwork, and the occasional brainstorming session fueled by good vibes and great ideas.

How to Apply: We welcome applicants who can bring a diverse perspective to our team. If you're someone who's ready to put your skills to work in a role that's as challenging as it is rewarding, we'd love to hear from you.

Get ready to join a team that’s serious about technology but doesn’t take itself too seriously. We’re excited to see what you bring to our table – hopefully, it’s more than just your excellent tech skills and a stellar meme collection!
